CLS208

Another new feature of the CLS208 is SAE J1939 Safety-compliant safety-critical data CAN communication. The protocol stack is implemented as a device-independent CODESYS library. It is compiled together with the control project for the specific target system. The data is transferred to the other participants by explicitly calling the POU within the application. This makes the use more flexible.PFEA111-20 is the world’s first implementation of a CAN safety protocol for ECUs, including for mobile machines. The optional IO Studio DAQ (Data Acquisition) software provides the same functionality as the IO Studio Configuration software but also allows real-time viewing and acquisition of data from RTU/Modbus TCP slave devices such as FDC-IO modules. The software displays real-time data in the form of numeric values, bar graphs, trends, etc., as well as a historical data viewer with up to 1024 tabs.

The CLS208 includes:

Fully customised and TÜV Süd-approved project documentation for the Aurix platform based on the task toolchain (including tool validation).
Relevant safety documentation, including integration tests to verify compliance with functional safety requirements during final certification.
