The 3503E interface is available for SATA II drives. For superior graphics performance, the bCOM6-L1200 features integrated analogue CRT and LVDS as well as two or three DDI ports. i/O functionality is provided via three PCI Express x1 lanes or 1x 2+ 1x 1 lanes or wide PCI Express x8/x4 ports. x8/x4 ports can be used for applications that require high end graphic and video functions. Combined with audio ports and GPIO or SD card interfaces, a variety of multimedia implementations are possible. The modular architecture is uniquely attractive for many applications due to its performance, modularity, flexibility, long life and investment protection.
Designed to support PROFINET, Ethernet/IP and Modbus protocols, the 3503E can be used with a variety of Ethernet controllers and is ideal for the following applications:

Applications that occasionally use other Ethernet-based systems in addition to PROFINET due to end-user preferences
Applications with high functionality requirements and high flexibility, as well as large site extensions with up to 64 modules (up to 1,024 IO signals). In addition, with BA-Send/BU-Send, sites can be expanded by up to 16 SIMATIC ET 200AL series IP67 modules!
Until now, these applications have relied exclusively on Modbus TCP or Ethernet/IP controllers, e.g. energy data acquisition via Modbus TCP and AI Energy Meter modules.
