SST-PFB3-VME

The SST-PFB3-VME features a transmitter power amplifier, receiver low-noise amplifier with bypass, and low-loss, single-pole, double-throw antenna switches for 5 GHz WLAN connectivity in an integrated, compact 2.5×2.5×0.4 mm, 16-pin QFN package, making it ideal for high data rate mobile device applications. The SST-PFB3-VME’s small footprint and high linear output power of up to 16 dBm and 17 dBm at 3.3V and 5V Vcc, respectively (1.75% dynamic EVM using MCS9-HT80 modulation and 80 MHz bandwidth), and 18 dBm and 19 dBm at 3.3V and 5V, respectively (3% EVM), extends the IEEE 802.11.1 standard for mobile device connectivity. extends the range of IEEE 802.11a WLAN systems while providing excellent transmit power at high data rate modulations up to 11ac.

The SST-PFB3-VME receiver features 12 dB gain and an input (1 dB) compression level greater than -6 dBm. In LNA bypass mode, the receiver has a 2.5 dB noise figure and -6 dBm input compression level. This 5 GHz 50 ohm matched FEM enables designers to create efficient designs with small board size requirements, reducing time to market. Its high linear power enables 802.11a/n/ac operation and increased data rates, while its small size is ideal for space-constrained applications including mobile devices, multi-channel access points/routers and set-top boxes. With excellent accuracy and low temperature drift, built-in anti-alias filters, support for flexible trigger modes, and USB bus power, the module is an ideal portable solution for time-frequency analysis and research. the USB-2405 supports simultaneous sampling of up to 128 kS/s on four analogue input channels, and offers 100 dB dynamic range and -94 dB THD dynamic performance.
