SST-PB3-CLX

The open platform of the SST-PB3-CLX module supports Microsoft’s Window XP and Windows CE, enabling users to tightly integrate their applications into the ControlLogix world as stand-alone PCs or industrial PCs with network and/or backplane connectivity. it features four encoder/counter ports as well as four communication ports for connecting to new I/O expansion modules. The base module is then expanded with digital and analogue I/O modules, depending on the application. The controller integrated on the base module reduces the burden on the CPU when controlling and monitoring the I/Os. The analogue I/O modules have more than eight analogue inputs with selectable input voltage ranges, eight outputs and four PT100 connections for temperature acquisition.

The SST-PB3-CLX connects new digital and analogue I/O expansion modules via a new CPCI base module with up to 40 analogue I/O ports, 160 digital I/O ports and 4 encoder/counter ports. The new I/O solutions are designed to be more compact than before, freeing up CPCI slots for other applications. The new series is suitable for high-speed and real-time measurement tasks as well as open and closed loop control tasks in industry. The modular Sicomp industrial minicomputers with 19-inch pull-out unit design are expandable via CPCI ports using the new CPCI-SFT200 base module.
