SCXI-1304

The SCXI-1304 replaces the complex development projects previously required with a simple and fast implementation. By integrating the commModule PD, the bus physics is ready for connection to Foundation fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA. an extensive library of functions and sensor blocks is available for immediate integration, thus eliminating the need for additional necessary software programming. It is also possible to access the new interfaces without modifying the carrier board by using thin flat cable connectors for Gigabit Ethernet, DDI graphics, and XDP CPU debugging, as well as on-board connectors for SATA ports and fan power with SmartFan control.

The SCXI-1304 comes with a single SODIMM slot that can accommodate up to 4 GB of non-ECC 1333/1066 MHz DDR3L memory. The SCXI-1304 supports all the legacy I/O of the previous ETX modules on the market and extends the useful life of expiring NI-based systems by an additional seven years, delivering new levels of performance and allowing access to the latest cloud services. As a direct replacement for older ETX modules, the ETX-BT supports all legacy interfaces of the ETX specification, such as dual PATA IDEs with master/slave, ISA bus, PCI bus, serial/parallel ports, Intel-based 10/100Mbps LANs, analog VGA and LVDS.
