PM01 PM01-A-V001 minimises the need for safety stock and routine physical inventory. Analysing KPIs such as uptime, downtime and OEE improves the utilisation of production assets and lays the foundation for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. Management can quickly identify underperforming machines, either visually or through email alerts that show the status and performance metrics of any machine or work centre. Accurate job costs can be determined by analysing historical data such as set-up time, run time, downtime, cycle time and productivity as well as OEE and comparing it to job standards.

The system accurately calculates start/finish times for each job based on real-time operating conditions, shift production schedules and efficiency factors associated with individual jobs or machines. Production scheduling and sales departments can now view the status of customer orders and their completion dates in real time. “What-if” production scheduling changes can be made without interfering with the actual schedule; jobs that are expected to be delayed are immediately flagged. At the end of jobs and shifts, documentation is generated to provide feedback to ERP/MPRII on the start and completion of jobs, as well as automated inventory and WIP updates. Available in square and hexagonal crimp styles, these crimping tools feature ergonomic handles with hardness and surface texture for frequent use, non-slip grip pads to apply pressure to surfaces, and ratcheting action to ensure that the crimp is completed to specification.
