Traditional Nano and Micro PLC product lines often lack scalability or have limited expansion options in terms of controller selection, forcing automation users to unnecessarily migrate to larger and more expensive systems. the S7-1200 compact controllers offer a wide range of I/O combinations and power supply options, including nine models of VAC or VDC power supply units and DC or relay I/O combinations.

PFEA112-65 3BSE050091R65 Signal and communication modules for I/O expansion can be easily attached to the side of the controller. All Simatic S7-1200 hardware can be mounted on standard DIN rails or directly on the control panel, reducing electrical cabinet space and costs. Signal modules are available in 8-, 16-, and 32-point input, output, and combination models that support DC, relay, and analog I/O signals.
