The PFEA111-20 3BSE050090R20 can remotely shut down assets with the fail-safe logic required for wireless operation of critical systems. This long range (3+ miles) wireless telemetry system eliminates the need for costly conduit laying and can be configured with a PLC monitoring system or a standalone system controlled by a SignalFire gateway that monitors inputs and automatically generates control commands.The SignalFire RSDS connects to any type of sensor and wirelessly transmits data to the SignalFire gateway. When running automatically, the gateway generates commands and offloads data to the PLC.

PFEA111-20 3BSE050090R20 to be configured as a stand-alone system to monitor and control a remote wellsite using the PLC to offload the sensor data. In this diagram, the SignalFire gateway is configured to update the remote RSDS node based on the tank level status received from the tank sensor. The local PLC makes the decision to shut down the remote well. If the field tank overflow is to be monitored, the tank sensor can be connected directly to the PLC, which monitors the data and decides if the tank is in alarm. Alternatively, the data can be sent wirelessly and the PLC gets the tank level data from the gateway.
