The MVME55006E-0163 is suitable for force-sensitive applications that require short strokes that must be accurately repeated. Examples include adjusting a microscope slide stage, tilting a computer monitor, or placing a pipette vertically on an array of test tubes. Ideal applications are stroke lengths shorter than 2.5 inches; loads less than 200 lbf on various motor sizes; and speeds less than 20 inches/second are required. Enhances the scalability of Beckhoff’s PC-based control technology – from small PLCs to multi-core industrial PCs. 400 MHz processor and built-in configurable I/O drive this embedded PC.

Designed for SCADA applications, the MVME55006E-0163 features four USB3.0 ports, two LAN ports, and four COM ports for connecting a variety of peripheral devices, as well as VGA and HDMI ports for dual display output. Advantech can also work with customers to customise the system with up to six USB3.0 ports and six COM ports. The Embedded PC is equipped with an ARM Cortex-M7 processor (32-bit, 400 MHz) and measures 49 x 100 x 72 mm, ensuring that PC-based control is scalable for small controller applications that typically require a minimal footprint. It is suitable for use in an operating temperature range of -25 to +60 °C. The Ethernet interface (10/100 Mbit/s, RJ45) is used as a programming interface. This means that the CX7000 is ideally suited for use as a stand-alone compact controller.
