LYD000A

The LYD000A is fully integrated into ProConOS and the CANopen configuration tool into Multiprog. In contrast to other solutions, ProConOS and the CANopen manager can be integrated on a CPU with an internal CAN controller. As a result, extensive CANopen functionality for configuration, monitoring and data exchange is provided in comparison to the CiA301 and CiA302. In addition to reduced hardware costs, the single CPU-based solution offers considerable advantages in terms of performance and functionality. The module allows the PLC to connect to up to four independent CANopen networks while acting as a manager (master) or slave in each network. The operating mode can be changed at runtime by switching only one parameter. When acting as a manager, the PLC supports a standardized bootloader and configuration manager in accordance with CiA302. This ensures network conformance based on extensive testing mechanisms and management of configuration data in the PLC.
