LDGRB-01 3BSE013177R1

The AC-DC converter stage in the LDGRB-01 3BSE013177R1 is capable of powering not only itself, but also drives or combinations of drives with the same total rating. For many multi-axis applications, this usually means that the drive with the highest rating will be able to power the rest of the system. For many multi-axis systems, this approach almost always requires fewer electrical components and simpler system construction, as the entire system requires only a set of contactors, fuses or MCBs, terminal blocks, and an EMC filter. The drives all include a general-purpose encoder input (incremental encoder, EnDat, SSI, sine-cosine, multiturn, and singleturn) and built-in I/O (three digital inputs, two digital outputs, a +/-10V analogue input, brake control output, and CANopen and USB ports).

LDGRB-01 3BSE013177R1 Adding separate power supplies and capacitor banks with fixed ratings usually means that they may be too large for the application in question. The drive’s control electronics can draw power from either the main AC-DC power supply or the 24 VDC connection system on the front panel. The use of a 24 VDC power supply ensures that control and communications are maintained when the system is used in a safety shutdown (mains disconnected) application. Configuration flexibility has always been at the heart of the design requirements. Allowing the user to precisely configure the local properties of the drive and/or providing an upgrade path. Expansion options include analogue and digital I/O, resolver feedback, encoder feedback and fieldbus interfaces.
