RCU501

The RCU501 stores data with labels and timestamps so it can be retrieved and displayed on screen in real time or in playback mode. Unlike some competing process history databases that use compression, InfoLink retains all raw data on disk. With compression, other history databases lose the resolution of the original data. Screens can easily be designed to mimic HMI displays, or to present trends and comparisons.InfoLink calculates and displays KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) in real time. By placing the KPIs prominently on the screen, operators and users can quickly see the key values affecting the process, either in real time or as they occurred a month ago.

The RCU501 simplifies installation operations and reduces implementation time. Also of note, the RadioLinx RLXIB-IHW supports serial packaging. This provides a simple method of allowing serial devices to be used and integrated into the control system’s primary Ethernet architecture. This new radio, the RLXIB-IHW, is compatible with its predecessor, the RLX-IHW, and offers superior performance for both IEEE 802.11bg (2.4 GHz band) and 802.11a (5 GHz band) implementations: a more powerful processor allows for faster processing of data and signals, which, from the user’s point of view, increases data throughput.
