IS420YDOAS1B

The IS420YDOAS1B module connects the mini-market to the Internet and also provides e-mail and text notification capabilities that can be used with third-party e-mail servers such as gmail and Yahoo! It is a graphics-driven programming tool that combines logic and intuition with interfaces. IDEC’s controllers with WINLDR are simple and intuitive, both in terms of ladder logic and scripting, which is similar to the C programming language. The scripting language can be used to create more complex programs, especially those with multiple subroutines and custom function blocks. Even without prior ladder logic programming experience, programmers can use the built-in editor, shortcuts and debugger to quickly configure programs.

 

The IS420YDOAS1B can then be transferred to a PLC and optionally include accompanying comments. Programs can be downloaded by attaching comments to operands and lines, which are stored in the PLC processor. Using these comments, the user can review the programming code to provide clarification and simplify maintenance. Shutting down the PLC to make minor changes can be a major hassle, so WINDLDR allows the program to be edited and downloaded while the PLC is still running. This feature allows the user to write new values to counters, timers and registers at any time without having to switch between editor mode (for programming) and monitor mode. A built-in simulation mode allows ladder programs to be simulated in the module. This feature provides a means of testing and verifying the functionality of a ladder program without having to download it to the IDECPLC program.
