The transducers have a compact and rugged design with an accuracy of class 0.5 as defined by HBM and are available in different nominal (rated) torque steps ranging from 5 N-m to 1000 N-m. The maximum permissible rotational speed range is from 9,000 to 16,000 rpm, depending on the measuring range. Integrated electronics ensure ease of use and reduce measurement chain costs. the T22 torque transducer has a power requirement of 11.5 V to 30 V DC and features two parallel ±5 V and 10±8 mA analogue outputs, making it an ideal solution for direct connection to a PLC. Torque is measured using strain gauges and non-contact energy and signal transmission.
