IC3645LXCD1TT

The IC3645LXCD1TT module consists of a servo module that controls the rotational speed of small- to medium-sized turbomachinery and a high-speed protection module that protects the machine by detecting abnormalities such as excessive rotational speed. The frequency input module measures the rotational speed with high accuracy (±0.1% of reading). This is true even at speeds as low as 0.1 Hz, ensuring that the wind turbine can operate smoothly in all conditions, from strong winds to light breezes. For the traditional energy market, the motor has also improved the reliability and functionality of the FCN-RTU low-power autonomous controller, which was developed for controlling oil and gas wellheads distributed over a large area. Specifically, the module now has the same error checking and correcting (ECC) memory as a high-end PC, and memory capacity has been doubled to allow for long-term storage of gas volume data and other field information.

The IC3645LXCD1TT is capable of reading and writing J1939 network data to perform control and monitoring tasks. The gateway accomplishes this by operating as both a Profibus-DP slave on the Profibus network and a CAN node on the J1939 network. Data is exchanged from either network based on user-defined configurations. HMS offers a free Windows-based configuration tool (BWConfig) that allows users to map J1939 parameter (PGN) data to the module’s input and output tables, which are accessed by the Profibus master over the Profibus-DP network. With its rugged industrial design, the device is designed for a variety of applications and industries. These include use in agriculture, construction, fire and rescue, oil and gas, mining, power generation, motor control, material handling, trucking, mass transit and marine applications. Typical uses include applications in oil and gas production, or in-vehicle applications where the gateway is used as an interface between the J1939 network and Profibus-based industrial PLCs.
