HYDRAN M2

The HYDRAN M2 features RS-485/power ports, input/output ports, a browser interface, and provides limited control with Modbus RTU write capability (up to 115.2k baud rate) and 3VDC discrete output logic. Unmonitored devices can be connected to the IoT and monitored via Modbus RTU, 4 digital inputs and 2 analogue inputs. Modbus devices and up to four discrete outputs can be remotely controlled using the Pocket Portal mobile app.

With speeds up to 4 m/s and accelerations of 100 m/s 2 or more, the HYDRAN M2 actuator provides excellent dynamic control. The modular linear motors and tracks can form circular, gyratory and S-curves as well as straight lines and open segments. The tracks can be mounted horizontally, vertically or at an angle, and multiple actuators can be combined to manoeuvre or transport parts. Flexible series production from as little as one batch can be achieved via XTS and EtherCAT networks, PC-based control hardware, and GE’s TwinCAT 3 automation software.
