GFD212A 3BHE020356R0101 3BHE020357P201 The drive can be configured via software for EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP or PowerLink-based systems. The drives also support a number of different forms of feedback, including incremental and digital absolute encoders with different output formats, resolvers, and the new generation of Hiperface DSL encoders, which combine motor power and feedback in a single cable, providing significant savings in wiring costs and installation time for companies building large multi-axis systems. The modules save energy by detecting when the machine is idle and automatically shutting off the compressed air. When the machine receives a start signal from the operator, the E2M resupplies the compressed air. In the case of particularly complex production processes, the automatic standby detection can be deactivated in favour of manual operation.

The GFD212A 3BHE020356R0101 3BHE020357P201 drives have dual channels to support Safe Torque-Off (STO) functional safety in accordance with PL e SIL3. Each drive is also equipped with a large number of built-in I/Os including six digital inputs, two fast latching inputs, four digital outputs, two analogue inputs and one analogue output, A high power relay output and a PTC sensor for motor thermal protection. A wide range of built-in functions allow the drive to be used in many different control system architectures.
