UR8FH

The UR8FH communicates with sensors via a variety of wireless protocols. With the aid of add-on modules, the HARTING MICA is now able to capture and process data via SmartMESH IP (DUST), low-power Bluetooth and XBee slots, independent of existing machine controls. These transport protocols have been selected to provide a variety of ways for wireless sensors to connect to the HARTING MICA, either directly or via a sensor node. The combination of wireless sensors and MICA allows monitoring of existing machines (condition monitoring). Without investing in cables, networks or expensive industrial sensors, data such as operating times, temperatures and numerous environmental parameters can be determined and monitored.MICA.network is helping to connect specialised partners for the implementation of IIoT projects (Industrial Internet of Things).

The UR8FH measures current grids up to 480 VAC using an external shunt. The module can also be used to measure DC voltages up to 277 VDC and high currents on both channels. The system software features an easy-to-use user interface for entering standard data via predefined drop-down lists, as well as an easy-to-use history that includes all relevant refractory and kiln data, maintenance data, date, time, and user name change records.
