The FLN3524A simply sends data back and forth between Ethernet protocols without allowing external applications to access the corporate network directly.HARTING has added a second interface to its Edge Computing MICA for these applications. The additional USB interface can be used to add more functionality or a USB storage device. This is because the MICA can also perform complex data conversion and aggregation. The auxiliary Ethernet interface is provided via a functional circuit board and extends the modular system of the MICA platform.

The FLN3524A has two analogue outputs and the FT-04B has one analogue output and one relay output. an HTML5 web server allows users to access the controller from a mobile device or via a secure remote connection. Other key features include:
