Detailed content

FC-TSAI-1620M

The FC-TSAI-1620M drives are available in two different enclosure sizes, with motor powers ranging from 0.75kW to 5.5kW, currents ranging from 2.6A to 12.0A, and overloads up to 250%. The drives can be customised to suit specific applications with a variety of design options. Safety features can be selected from three modules to meet machine requirements. In addition to controlling synchronous, asynchronous, permanent magnet and synchronous reluctance motor types, the COMBIVERT S6 offers additional features such as motor operation with encoder feedback or encoderless ASCL/SCL for precise speed control. All modules offer a two-channel multi-encoder interface for all encoder types such as Resolver, TTL, HTL, SinCos, SSi, EnDAT, Hiperface and BiSS. Motor temperature can also be monitored using a PTC, KTY or PT1000 sensor.

With the FC-TSAI-1620M, safety functions are transferred to the drive platform with the help of drive-based safety, which means separate protection devices and reduced wiring costs. The module enables scalable functional safety, from basic STO to encoder-based safe motion. Optionally, the current speed-based safety functions (e.g. Safe Speed Limit, Safe Maximum Speed, Safe Operating Stop and Safe Direction) can be used. All safety functions are available for applications with IEC 62061-SIL3 according to IEC 61508 or PLe according to ISO 13849. The safety functions are controlled via safe digital inputs or FSoE (Fail Safe over EtherCAT). More real-time fieldbus control options and safe PLC communication (EtherCAT, PROFINET, POWERLINK) are available to provide end users with Industry 4.0/IoT-enabled servo drives.
