F8650X

The F8650X allows DG1 drives to be integrated into a control system using DeviceNet and CANopen. They will allow the drive to communicate with other components running in the system, such as PLCs or other drives. Ultimately, the communication cards allow the drives to process information and diagnostics, thus enabling customers to power their operations more efficiently and safely. The drive is designed for safety and includes standard Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality. The drives are also Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant and meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Underwriters Laboratories (cUL), European Conformity Assessment (CE), and C-Tick standards for Australia and New Zealand.

F8650X applications with adjustable frequency drives can achieve up to 10 percent additional energy and emissions savings by switching to PowerXL DG1 drives. With Eaton’s patented Active Energy Control algorithm, the new drives are programmed to dynamically adjust their operating points to minimise energy consumption. The modular design using the latest generation of semiconductor technology is designed to provide greater reliability and reduce maintenance time and costs. Enhanced graphical displays and communication capabilities are built into the drive. This provides customers with detailed system data to simplify installation, commissioning and maintenance.
