Firmware version 1.5 features dual-axis analogue servo control, allowing one or two third-party amplifiers to be controlled using 10 VDC analogue speed or torque commands. It is designed as a machinery monitoring system with built-in cybersecurity and built-in data diodes for secure unidirectional data transfer from the equipment to the Bently Nevada Machinery Management Software System 1 for proactive monitoring and diagnostics. The platform is SIL 2 and 3 certified, API 670 compliant, and meets industry safety and performance standards.

The F6706 provides predefined, fully customisable and ready-to-use object sets. Animations can be easily modified graphically. Design and online modes are also available, eliminating the need for recompilation. isaVIEW also allows users to quickly create basic object sets. Modules are available with 80 data channels. the Orbit 60 series can be rack-based or distributed and is expandable with modular remote I/O systems. It also features a smooth-touch keypad that replaces traditional rubber buttons that wear out with use and harsh environments. The keypad also eliminates contamination points and creates a seal on the front of the controller.
