DSMB-01C chip features include: Ethernet communications (including support for multi-port physics), serial communications, 2 CAN ports, Wi-Fi and cellular networking with protocol support for Modbus TCP, Modbus Master, Modbus Slave, SAE J1939, NMEA 2000, COAP and MQTT, enhanced Supported protocols include Modbus TCP, Modbus Master, Modbus Slave, SAE J1939, NMEA 2000, COAP and MQTT, enhanced counter/timer functionality, up to 106 digital I/Os, up to eight 12-bit analog inputs and one 10-bit analog output, an integrated real-time clock, an SD card interface, an I2C port, an SPI port, a quadrature counter, a keypad and display interfaces, extended on-chip user memory, and accelerated scan times.

The DSMB-01C can be added to any embedded application without low-level programming. Once integrated into any product, the Divelbiss EZ Ladder Toolkit can be used to enter and monitor user applications. Functions supported by this programming tool include: ladder diagrams, function blocks and structured text. Over 110 standard function blocks are supported and custom functions and function blocks can be added using structured text.
