The CI830 3BSE013252R1 independently collects data from programmable controller systems (PLCs) and transmits it directly to higher-level management systems, such as ERP or MES, via an integrated embedded OPC UA server. While today’s common PC-based solutions require regular operating system updates, echocollect UA can run uninterrupted and maintenance-free for years. the OPC UA protocol allows simple local and global networking without OPC tunnels or complex DCOM configurations, even across firewalls and the Internet.

Collected data can be stored internally as process images (optionally in Microsoft Excel format) or recorded in a database for further processing. Two independent Ethernet ports allow network separation between the production system and the commercial IT network.
