The 8C-PCNT02 features state-of-the-art optics, advanced microprocessor electronics and high reliability motors that integrate signal processing, data storage and data communication into one integrated unit. To ensure reliable operation even in the harshest kiln environments, the line scanner is designed with a rugged cast aluminum housing, which in turn is mounted in a stainless steel protective enclosure with air purge and water cooling. Process control and power applications can be designed efficiently and fully parametrically. Successfully operating in more than 300 cement and minerals plants worldwide, the technology improves the standardization, functionality and quality of process control software throughout the entire life cycle of the production facility. This minimizes downtime due to abnormal conditions and allows for efficient operation and maintenance of the facility’s production processes and assets.

The 8C-PCNT02 module includes AC voltage, AC current clamp, iFlex AC current clamp, and K-Type temperature units that can make real-time measurements or log up to 65,000 sets of data. Recorded data can be saved to a PC in .csv format. The following new features are available:
