The 8521-TC-SA offers extremely high performance for a wide variety of applications. Rated at 250V, these filters are used for single-phase AC and DC motor drives that require long motor power cords (over 50 meters) and need to meet industrial and residential noise limits. The panel features a 5.7-inch TFT LCD 320 x 240 dot display and 32K color palette for customizing objects, screen backgrounds, and displaying bitmap graphics. The motors offer the same low-speed, high-torque and excellent holding torque characteristics as open-loop stepper motors, with the added benefit of true closed-loop control. These advantages include the ability to generate peak torque from the motor that is 50% higher than the normal torque range of the same stepper motor running open loop.

The 8521-TC-SA is available in 1A – 10A models in molded plastic housings with good performance in both common mode and differential mode interference, and rated up to 250 V. Powered by a Class 2 12-24 VDC power supply, it features three communication ports (USB programming, RJ12, and DB15) and five user-definable function keys, each with a user-definable red LED indicator.
