The 125840-01 3500/15 module provides a wide range of diagnostic data and can be configured in the field using on-board DIP switches, making the remote module ideal for factory automation, process control, and machine building applications. It is fully integrated into the Rockwell software architecture with features such as “add-on commands” that save integration time; Ethernet switches with redundancy (DLR); direct access to I/O data without writing ladder logic, and full access to PROFIBUS DP-V1 services and device diagnostics. The modules use spread-spectrum base modulation, which enables demodulation at a level of 20 dB below the noise level.

The 125840-01 3500/15 enables highly sensitive and robust network links, increasing network efficiency and eliminating interference. Compared to mesh networks, the LoRaWAN protocol’s star topology eliminates synchronisation overhead and hop count, reducing power consumption and allowing multiple concurrent applications to run on the network.
