05701-A-0302

05701-A-0302 can automatically monitor and cross-reference a range of factors including changes in vibration characteristics, operating temperature, current consumption and operating parameters. The system utilizes multiple smart sensors, physically attached to the asset (using glue, screws or magnetic fixtures), to feed information via Ethernet to an advanced sensor controller, which has a Mitsubishi Electric PLC at its heart The solution can be used as a stand-alone device (an idea for feasibility studies or trials) or as a fully-integrated system, allowing information to be transmitted throughout the plant for monitoring and control via the shop floor’s HMI, a PC connected to a higher level data system or to a mobile device via local Wi-Fi, internet or mobile network.

05701-A-0302 Utilizing an HMI installation configured to display basic parameters, the system can automatically create conditions and alarms with associated text descriptions. Diagnostics can be configured to display all data about the asset, or can be simplified to a general overview of the traffic light warning system, showing the overall condition for easy assessment. With the relevant apps, operators can also use mobile devices to monitor the status of equipment on the go. Once in operation, an intelligent condition monitoring system can detect a range of potential problems. These include bearing defects in raceways or ball and roller bearings, motor imbalances, misalignments, instabilities, resonant frequencies, fractures, blockages and low lubricant levels, temperature fluctuations and phase failures in power components.
