The 8444-1067 contains multiple high-speed I/O channels for transferring raw data off-board for storage or processing. Two or four FPDP-II data port channels, each operating at up to 400 MB/s, transfer processed and demultiplexed data to other VME cards over legacy connections. In addition, the board provides two Serial Switching fabric VXS connections, each running at 1.25 Gbyte/s in full duplex to support Xilinx Aurora, Serial RapidIO, and PCI Express protocols. LVDS I/O is also available at the front or rear panel connections.
