The SR745-W2-P5-G5-HI-A required remote control functionality to build the system more efficiently, as well as functionality that would allow for tighter integration with the CENTUM CS3000 R3 and provide more flexibility for the operator. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible solution to our users, we have added the requested features to ProSafe-RS. Enhancements 1. New Optical Remote Control Feature This new feature allows the ProSafe-RS controller and I/O modules to be connected via optical fibre. Safe field devices such as emergency shut-off valves can be operated. As a result, operators can use safe field devices under normal plant operating conditions and enjoy greater flexibility in plant operation. It is also possible to connect to the CENTUM CS3000 R3 via Vnet/IP, one of the latest control networks.

The SR745-W2-P5-G5-HI-A is ideally suited for applications that require a paperless automated system for compliance reporting under the EPA and other regulatory agencies. Its high-speed data exchange rate allows the module to seamlessly integrate into large systems, including SCADA, while its data archiving feature preserves data even when connectivity may be lost and makes that data accessible at both the remote and enterprise levels, maintaining the integrity of the data and the network.
