5X00875G01 is a web-based wizard-driven tool that allows users to aggregate data from a variety of sources, including real-time historical databases, relational databases, and control systems, and to perform calculations on that data. The results of these calculations can then be automatically used for trending, flowcharting and KPI dashboards in Matrikon Operational Insight, or sent to any real-time or relational database for long-term storage and access by any other application. The module has 16 channels, a significant increase from the previous maximum of 8 channels. The moisture- and dust-proof high-density EtherCAT cassettes can be mounted directly on the machine, significantly reducing the wiring effort and price per channel. 16-channel models of the Beckhoff EtherCAT cassettes can be integrated directly into any EtherCAT network. The high EtherCAT performance of 100 Mbit/s is again retained with each IP 67 cassette.
