TRICONEX MP3101S2

The MP3101S2 series has a PNP output and can be used to monitor most safety switches such as electromechanical switches, safety light curtains, electronic safety sensors and coded magnet sensors. Input expansion models up to Cat.4/PLe, monitoring of two independent safety functions, and monitoring of two-hand control are available. Each module can be adjusted to one of 11 preset configurations, including selecting the type of reset, activating or deactivating cross-wire monitoring, and selecting the monitored contact configuration. Once changed to the desired setting, the dial is protected from further adjustment by a fixable transparent front cover.

The MP3101S2 device offers features that help drive product innovation, including a low pin count and a 4 KB or 8 KB Flash package. Other integrated features include: a CIP called the Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC); an event system for peripheral collaboration; programmable logic blocks; self-programming for firmware upgrades; non-volatile data storage; a 20 MHz internal oscillator; serial communication with the USART; an operating voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V; a 10-bit ADC with an internal voltage reference; and a sleep time of less than 100 nA in power-down mode. Sleep current below 100 nA in power-down mode with SRAM retention.
