PXI-4071

The PXI-4071 provides anti-alias and digital filters for each channel. In addition, the module includes an independent programmable 0.625 to 10 V excitation voltage on each channel for flexibility and fail-safe protection.The PXI-4071 also provides remote sensing, internal bridge completion, and shunt calibration options for each channel.The 8-channel bridge input module scales up to a 136-channel system in a single chassis, and thousands of channels when synchronised across multiple chassis. Simultaneous sampling, high sample rates and channel synchronisation capabilities make this module ideal for structural test applications such as fatigue and shock testing, design verification and other dynamic testing.

The PXI-4071 provides access to all data and control paths for factory-installed features including data multiplexing, channel selection, data packing, gating, triggering and memory control. The module supports an optional 5 GB DDR4 SDRAM memory bank for custom applications. The memory to Gen.3 x8 PCIe link sustains 6.4 GB/s of data transfer, a 20 per cent improvement over the Onyx architecture. Eight additional gigabit serial channels and LVDS general-purpose I/O lines are available for custom solutions.8 Enhancements include 0.2% accuracy for all gain and excitation settings, with no adjustments required. In addition, output noise has been reduced to a very low 200µVrms, which is critical for accurate measurements.
