GD9924BE V2 HIEE401091R0002

The GD9924BE V2 HIEE401091R0002 will apply a user selectable voltage of 10v to 1500v DC or 10v to 1000v RMS AC to each connection group in the cable. Current leakage detected during the high voltage test phase measures insulation resistance up to 1 Gigohm, and any leakage current above the preset limit indicates the presence of moisture, solder or other contaminants on the exposed contacts. This new high-voltage testing capability enables users to meet the industry-standard A620 cable and harness testing guidelines. The system also generates an archived quality report for each cable tested, showing the test voltage, leakage current and insulation resistance for each wire set, with pass or fail clearly labelled at the top of the report.

The GD9924BE V2 HIEE401091R0002 system uses a variety of measures to ensure operator security. Each login must have system administrator authorisation to enable the high voltage function. After logging in, the operator must press the Hardware Enable button for that test session to confirm that he or she is aware of the presence of high voltage. During the test, a bright red light bar will illuminate when high voltage is present. A remote test and stop switch is available if required. Finally, exceeding a maximum test current of 1.5ma will cause that test to automatically stop and stop the voltage. The CableEye HVX System consists of the M3U Tester and the HVX Module, which is priced at $6,995 for 128 test points, and can be expanded up to 512 test points using the optional Expansion Unit.
