IOM4.2 2044230041E 2044230040H provides an innovative “push-to-lock” mechanism for fast, simple and secure connections between I/O modules and I/O devices. With the Ultra-Lock connection system, performance and reliability are designed into the connector. The unique radial seal design provides a reliable, operator-independent seal every time, eliminating the risk of under- or over-tightening. When installers hear and feel the connector click, they can be confident that it is locked into place – no guesswork required. The modules all offer virtual COMport mapping for easy communication with a host PC over an 802.11b wireless network. The addition of digital I/O provides a competitive advantage over similar modules. Other features include high-speed transmission (230 kbps), TCP/IP protocol, Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/2003 drivers, RS-232 or RS-433/485 interfaces, and eight general-purpose digital I/Os.
