The 2481 provides full SCADA control from your mobile phone, as well as drag-and-drop functionality for designing mobile-responsive screens that fit mobile devices. Applications built with the Ignition Perspective module can be adapted to any screen size, from mobile phones to desktops. It also enables users to take advantage of their phone’s GPS, camera, Bluetooth, orientation sensing, and more. It runs in any web browser with HTML5 and requires no plug-ins. The module supports industry-standard SAE J1939 messaging over the CAN bus, and the included ACEINNA NAV-VIEW software provides a graphical interface for displaying, recording, playing back, and analysing all MTLT305D parameters via an RS232 port.

The 2481 uses sensor fusion (Extended Kalman Filter) and calibration algorithms to achieve 0.5 degrees of tilt and <10mg acceleration accuracy in a variety of conditions. It is calibrated to operate over a temperature range of -40C to +85C. The fully sealed compact module (65 x 66 x 27 mm) with integrated connectors is designed for construction, off-road and agricultural applications. Offering an MTBF of > 50k hours and complying with ITAR regulations, it includes CAN J1939 and RS232 interfaces for network connectivity. The miniature plastic housing is durable in hazardous environments (IP68 and IP69K ratings). It includes an Ampseal 16, 6-position connector that supports a wide power input range of 4.9 V to 32 V (for 12 V and 24 V vehicle platforms).
