MMS6823

The MMS6823 is an ARM9-based, Linux-enabled programmable automation controller. The module displays detailed information about the distributed device CPU, system memory and network interfaces. Controls can limit or increase CPU frequency and set ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) power management. In addition, enhanced maintenance features can now read HDD (Hard Disk Drive) SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) information used to monitor HDD health status. Other features of the module include support for up to 512GB of DDR4 1600/1866/2133 DIMM memory, 2.5-inch/3.5-inch hard drive bays, 650W power supply with redundancy, PCIe slots for expansion cards, and five hot-swappable fans.

The hardware performance of the MMS6823 integrates WAN optimisation, intrusion detection/prevention, network access control, load balancing, Web content filtering, unified threat management, and next-generation firewalls into a single system, delivering a variety of features without the need to invest in a single appliance.The MMS6823 is suitable for deployment in server rooms. It is also designed to work with up to eight AAEON Network Interface Modules (NIMs) to extend functionality. These modules are available for both copper and fibre connections, with some models offering up to eight ports. Together with the unit’s single Ethernet port, the MMS6823 provides a total of 65 ports.
