IS200HSLAH2ADEtaking advantage of the controller’s embedded USB and serial ports, machine builders can quickly program the controller and link it to human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and other serial devices, ultimately helping to minimise selection and installation time and reduce the total cost of ownership for the end user. The IS200HSLAH2ADE controllers offer a variety of plug-in modules for analogue/digital I/O, communications and extended memory. The plug-in modules allow machine builders to personalise the controller to increase functionality without expanding the product footprint. The new controller series also offers removable terminal blocks (on most models) and simplified communications through point-to-point data exchange. Complementing the new line of controllers, the new Connected Components Workbench software follows the established IEC-61131 standard.

The IS200HSLAH2ADE connects via a 24 VDC power supply, consumes no more than 150 mA, and can pass up to 256 bytes of transparent cyclic I/O input and output data. The new gateway is designed to provide very fast I/O data transfer between networks, typically with a delay of less than 5 ms. Dual Ethernet ports on the downlink side allow daisy-chaining without the need for parallel cabling. Configuration is performed via a web interface and does not require any programming. By using an SD memory card, the gateway can be replaced without any configuration, which greatly reduces downtime.
