SCXI-1326

The SCXI-1326 can achieve PID cycle rates up to 200 kHz. With these faster cycle rates, researchers can gain more precise control to build finer materials. They can also adapt to changes faster, resulting in a more efficient machine. Researchers can quickly develop and prototype new control design algorithms for motion control using the NI SoftMotion development module. The software includes functions for trajectory generation, spline interpolation, position and velocity PID control, and encoder implementation on LabVIEW real-time modules and/or LabVIEW FPGA modules.

The network variable technology introduced in the SCXI-1326 provides engineers with a simplified interface for communicating with applications written in LabWindows/CVI, National Instruments LabVIEW, Microsoft Visual Basic .NET, and C#. Using network variables and the LabWindows/CVI Real-Time module, engineers can now publish and share real-time measurement data between test systems on the factory floor and remotely monitored machines without the need for complex low-level TCP programming. Engineers can also use network variables to communicate between LabWindows/CVI Real-Time and NI LabVIEW Real-Time targets.
