SCXI-1000

The SCXI-1000 supports the EtherNet/IP and Modbus/TCP protocols. Flexible plug-in adapters allow quick and easy connection for use in transmitters, and modules can be optimised with CRDs for high speed, high torque or both, depending on the application. Communication is managed through a powerful software platform that supports a range of interfaces including OPC, Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM), proprietary communication protocols and APIs, providing a rigid system with zero clearance options from the motor to the drive load. The controller integrates state-of-the-art technology, including the Xilinx Zynq-7020 fully programmable system-on-chip (SoC), which combines a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with a Xilinx 7 series FPGA fabric.

The module has the following features:
Remote connection via Ethernet – allows users to configure and maintain the modules without having to be on the factory floor.
Additional Configuration File: Allows users to quickly configure and set up the module using Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000.
Additional Commands: Simplifies maintenance of the module.
Diagnostic data provided in the processor controller tag allows decisions to be made based on node health.
Module configurations are stored in CompactLogix programme memory to simplify disaster recovery.
