RCU501

Designed with automotive and semiconductor manufacturing in mind, the RCU501 controller enables nanoscale motion control and is intended to make production lines flexible enough to meet future needs. The module interfaces with virtually any motor or encoder using EtherCAT and encoder communication protocols to achieve fully synchronised motion control. The module can read and write data as well as control outputs.Nanoline is a small, flexible controller for simple applications. It uses the free downloadable Nanonavigator software for easy programming and hardware configuration.

The RCU501 sends text messages via the Short Message Service (SMS) protocol to remote locations where simple control functions are required. Applications include remote pumping or monitoring sites, or virtually any location with mobile phone coverage. Adding a GSM modem allows the Nanoline to act as a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) with the additional capability of solving logic.The GSM modem’s phonebook can store up to eight phone numbers that can be configured to send programme messages and/or fault or warning messages. The programming interface can be handled more easily without reducing functionality. Complex functions can be activated or deactivated via preset function sets or manually. So-called feature extensions that allow device manufacturers to bundle programming systems for their customers.
