SPHSS03 offers outstanding new features, including new tools for discovery and auto-configuration, enhanced graphics and integrations, and an additional Proficy module that improves visibility across all aspects of your organisation. Modules enhance operator productivity by providing fixed functionality including drill-down into tag details, instant trending of variables, viewing of enterprise data through hosted portal displays and thin client connectivity to SCADA nodes through Terminal Services. Graphics tools provide a variety of drawing productivity tools and advanced features for 3D pipeline and connected object management.

The SPHSS03 drive is rated at 30 amps continuous operation or 60 amps for one minute. These regenerative controls are capable of instant braking or reversing without the need for a braking resistor or replacement of motor leads. The driver is equipped with a brake output that can be used to power an electromechanical brake or an external run status LED. There are two on-board LEDs to communicate operating status and fault conditions. Jumpers are used to select between speed or torque mode operation, as well as unidirectional or bidirectional control using a 0 – 5 VDC analogue signal. Protection circuitry helps protect the drive from shorted armature outputs, and a pre-charge circuit limits inrush current to protect power contacts.
