The IC698CRE030-EE provides a high resolution analogue output (0 to 10 volts) that can be directly correlated to force units. Other features include auto-zero and remote reset to synchronise with machine cycles. Allows the terminal to save all GuardPLC application and distributed I/O configuration data used throughout the project. Programs and data are password-protected, which reduces the possibility of accidental or malicious program changes and helps ensure that proper programming is used. Ensures that synchronisation does not occur unless specific deviation limits are exceeded OnPoll, a new time synchronisation method included in version 6.3, also allows the user to configure time synchronisation to occur only after EFM polling. This reduces network traffic and provides users with more control over time synchronisation without requiring them to establish additional communication with the device.

The IC698CRE030-EE provides the following new features:

Password requirements (IEC 62443-3): domain administrators can enable strong password requirements. All passwords need to meet the complexity criteria defined by IEC62443-3.
Device Runtime Update Feature: Automatically updates the runtime software of remote devices.
Static IP VPN Pool: LAN devices accessible via VPN can be defined by a series of IP addresses.
Multiple Displays: Display multiple screens simultaneously using Combivis Connect Remote Desktop for C6 devices that support multiple displays.
Full Screen Support: View the remote desktop in full screen mode.
Export Connection Logs: Runtime logs of a remote C6 device, including all activities performed during a remote connection session, can be exported to CSV.
