USIO21

The USIO21 ensures fail-safe storage of TwinCAT process data. In addition, an on-board 10/100BASE-T Ethernet adapter, an EtherCAT adapter with RJ-45 connector and an RS-232 interface with two USB-2.0 ports are available. The aluminium panel enclosure features a high-quality glass front panel with an IP 65 rating on the front panel and IP 20 on the rear panel, and users can choose from eight different multi-touch TFT displays in sizes between 7 and 24 inches, as well as in 4:3, widescreen, landscape or portrait formats. The operating temperature range of the panels is 0 to 55 °C. The USIO21 is available in a wide range of sizes.

The USIO21 multi-touch panel with projected capacitive touchscreen (PCT) technology has a high contact density for accurate, safe and jitter-free operation, even in small steps. Dynamic multi-touch response is ensured even when wearing thin work gloves (e.g. latex gloves). In addition to multi-touch or two-touch operation modes (for panel PCs with Windows Embedded Compact 7 OS), the new series also offers high-precision automation solutions for two-handed operation.
