SCXI-1102

SCXI-1102 Accepting high-level commands over a network connection, STF stepper drives are designed to provide system designers and machine builders with the flexibility to control stepper motors using the network protocol of their choice. These stepper drivers integrate motion control functions into the application software of the host logic or machine controller, rather than into individual axes. These DC-powered microstepping drives also run stored procedures created using Applied Motion Products’ Q Programming language, which offers a range of motion profiles, multitasking, maths functions, conditional processing, data register manipulation and more in a text-based programming language. It reduces deceleration times and eliminates the need for external brake units or regenerative converters. In addition, by eliminating the need for external brakes, machine builders can reduce any repair and maintenance costs previously required for mechanical components.

The SCXI-1102 has a freestanding, rigid chassis for easy installation and maintenance, and is constructed of 16-gauge cold-rolled steel for NEMA 12 and 4 models and 16-gauge 304 stainless steel for NEMA 4X models. All units include active condensate management system and protective coating condenser coils. Designed for mounting in enclosures as shallow as 12 inches, each unit features a digital LED temperature controller with visible alarm and is pre-wired for external alarm monitoring. Covering power outputs up to 1.5 MW, the FR-A870 series combines this performance with enhanced features, including built-in brake choppers for all powers up to 200 kW to reduce deceleration times. Other features include DC reactors and EMC filters, eliminating the need for external auxiliary components, which in combination with the FR-A870’s own design saves space and reduces wiring requirements.Other standard features included in the FR-A870 models are an integrated PLC, USB port for programming and parameter copying, control panel, system security features, three expansion slots, and NIC options.
