The PFSK151 3BSE018876R1 module enables programmable devices that follow the ODVA Ethernet/IP guidelines to communicate with G9SP controllers. These devices include Omron CJ and CS series PLCs, as well as Rockwell Automation CompactLogix and ControlLogix series programmable controllers. The end result is a complete solution that allows users to quickly and easily monitor the operation of the G9SP safety controller and send non-safety data to that controller. This valuable information can be viewed or combined with manufacturing process data to help users achieve their productivity goals more efficiently.The G9SP is a software-based stand-alone controller that can be quickly programmed to meet the complex safety control needs of small to medium-sized machines and can be easily reconfigured to meet the needs of changing machine setups. Three base models feature a range of I/O options to meet different application needs, and four expansion I/O units are available for hardwired diagnostics or standard signals.

The G9SP programmable safety controllers are the ideal stand-alone safety control solution for packaging, food and beverage, automotive parts, injection molding and printing applications where customer-driven changes in machine setups require an equally flexible safety solution. These controllers can also seamlessly connect to Omron PLCs and communicate using the FINS protocol to form a complete Omron control solution platform. the G9SP programmable safety controllers provide clear diagnostics and monitoring via Ethernet or serial connections, and support direct connectivity to safety light curtains, safety laser scanners, non-contact switches and safety mats. They are certified to ISO 13849-1 (PLe) and IEC 61508 (SIL3).
