The PFEA111-20 3BSE050090R20 is a single-slot, powered backplane, in-rack and form factor compatible solution designed for direct connection to the Modicon™ M340 platform (Schneider Electric™). The module is a 2-in-1 combo product: it supports the functionality of an Access Point, Wireless Bridge and Repeater (54 Mbps and 108 Mbps in Turbo Mode), as well as the functionality of a 3-port Ethernet switch. It is fully compliant with Modbus/TCP, Profinet, Ethernet/IP standards and utilizes the latest technologies in radio security: IEEE802.11i, IEEE 802.11x (radius) and WPA2.

The PFEA111-20 3BSE050090R20 can be used for point-to-point or multipoint wireless communication: – Wireless access to the M340 via Vijeo Citect or Unity Pro – Wireless access and embedded Ethernet switch functionality – Exchanging process data between PLCs – Exchanging process data between PLCs via Global Data – PLC Remote Monitoring and Management. With all its attributes, the PFEA111-20 3BSE050090R20 is part of an element that complements and enhances the communication capabilities of the M340. The controller includes built-in Ethernet, high-speed motion control I/O and on-board analog I/O, as well as HMI panel connectivity to minimize space requirements and the need for additional hardware for smaller control systems.
