NW-BM85C002

The NW-BM85C002 motors are available in 1200, 1800 and 3600 RPM and feature a TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) housing with a cast iron frame and ribbed cooling design. Motors feature full length, cast iron mounting feet, steel fan shroud and cast iron junction box with rubber gaskets and rubber dust cover. Motors are available with ball bearings (1-75 hp) or roller bearings (100-300 hp) and maintenance-free bearings for motors 10 hp and under. V-ring shaft seals are used on both the drive and drive end. Motors are electrically reversible and have Class F winding insulation.

The NW-BM85C002 series of thermal overload relays for 9 to 25A contactors protects motor windings from burnout due to overloads, rotor blocking currents, or phase breaks. Maintenance and inspection safety includes a finger protection mechanism to cover the exposed terminals (according to DIN 57106), and the tripping status of the overload relay can be visually inspected. The current adjustment dial scale allows the current to be set. Isolated normally open and normally closed contacts are available for different potentials. The relay can be tripped manually and a no-trip mechanism is also available. Mounting base units can be added to allow separate mounting of relays.
