LSU-113DG Virtualization Advanced Platform with Fault Tolerance: Fault tolerance is a highlight of Experion PKS virtualized environments and a key aspect of LEAP. It optimizes high availability technology by providing continuous protection for virtual machines (VMs) in the event of host failure. Further support for DEIF’s new ControlEdge PLCs, utilizing Universal HMI and LEAP Project Execution, supports DEIF’s IIoT Readiness Program. The LSU-113DG includes:

Automated Device Commissioning: Critical to LEAP project execution, automated device commissioning automatically binds control configurations designed in Honeywell Safety Cloud to field devices connected to any Universal I/O (UIO) channel, reducing loop commissioning time from hours to minutes.
Integration of electrical systems with process control: Experion PKS Orion is the first distributed control system for electrical system control and management, including support for IEC 61850 electrical management.
Multivariate APC in the Controller: Experion Profit Controller moves multivariate predictive control from the Microsoft operating system into the Experion Control Execution Environment (CEE) to run directly in the C300 controller and Application Control Environment (ACE) nodes.
Support for all wireless standards, including WirelessHART: The latest version of Experion PKS Orion provides a number of enhancements to its OneWireless network. The update provides a unique solution to support ISA 100 Wireless, WirelessHART, and Wi-Fi on a single wireless network.
