The IS200EPSMG1ABB provides time-deterministic control of automated processes with high performance, ease of development, rugged construction, intelligent management of ultra-small dimensions and the lowest total cost of ownership. Integrated hardware and software elements, fast and easy API configuration and the Sofotion control core all provide fast high performance for EtherCAT applications. Slave systems utilize the latest RISC processors and FPGAs and offer a wide range of I/O modules including DI/O, AI/O, thermal measurement, motion control and EtherCAT communication modules, allowing easy system expansion via daisy-chained connections without compatibility issues.

The IS200EPSMG1ABB master controller allows for easy migration of legacy PLC programming to a PC-based environment and Sofotion function blocks, with a single master controller capable of daisy-chaining slave systems to connect up to 64 axes and 10,000 I/O control points. Superior computing power makes the Talos-3012 perfectly suited for simultaneous multitasking of HMI, motion control, PLC and gateway operations in industrial automation applications. The system automatically detects any type of slave system and I/O module and creates the appropriate XML file to complete the configuration without any additional setup. ADLINK EtherCAT master controllers can be easily connected to existing or extended third-party slave systems for automatic recognition and configuration without compatibility issues.
